I work with students in the Mori Laboratory at The University of Osaka on open-shell π-conjugated molecules — singlet diradicaloids and helicenes — with a focus on near-infrared emission and circularly polarized luminescence, combining synthesis, spectroscopy (ESR, CPL, NMR) and computational chemistry.
